Charles Krueger, PhD

Dr. Charles Krueger is founder and CEO of BigLever Software, which for over 20 years has helped organizations adopt and benefit from Feature-based Product Line Engineering (PLE). With more than 30 years of experience in systems and software engineering practice, he is a premier speaker, widely published author, and acknowledged thought leader in the PLE arena. He brings innovative PLE concepts, state-of-the-art methodologies, and success stories to the forefront of the systems engineering community. He is lead editor for the ISO/IEC 26580 standard on Feature-based PLE and past co-chair for the INCOSE PLE International Working Group.

Randy Pitz leads the onePLE Studio customer experience center where he facilitates education, innovation and adoption of PLE. He is responsible for collaborating with customers to develop specific strategies to leverage the benefits of PLE. He has over 29 years’ experience in systems and software engineering and was a Technical Fellow for The Boeing Company where he architected product lines for simulation, safety-critical aviation and mission-critical avionics systems. Randy holds a Masters in Computer Science from Washington University, and his Bachelor of Science from Michigan Technological University.
Drew Stovall, PhD

Dr. Drew Stovall oversees the architecture, development and evolution of BigLever Software’s core product offering. He brings more than 10 years of experience in software research and development to the team. Prior to joining BigLever, Dr. Stovall held engineering positions at several Austin software development firms including Trilogy, Convergys and eBay. His expertise includes pervasive computing environments and software architecture for maintainability and testing. Dr. Stovall holds a PhD in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Glenn Meter is responsible for defining and implementing integration strategies for the ongoing expansion of BigLever’s industry-standard PLE Lifecycle Framework. In addition to overseeing the company’s support organization, Meter collaborates with partners and third party tool vendors to plan and manage integration efforts that meet customer demand. Prior to BigLever, Meter worked as Director of Development Environments for Metrowerks, a subsidiary of Freescale Semiconductor, where he managed development of the company’s CodeWarrior Integrated Development Environment. Meter began his career in software tools development at Carnegie Mellon University.

A marketing veteran, Angela Ausman leads BigLever’s marketing through the development of the company’s positioning and messaging strategies and informational marketing approaches. Ausman oversees BigLever’s public relations, events, partner co-marketing programs, and online presence. As a marketing consultant, she created ground-floor go-to-market strategies for a spectrum of technology startups. Previously, Ausman held management positions at various startup and enterprise-level companies. Her background includes a BS in Business from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in Project Management from George Washington University.

Kurt Rightler brings more than 12 years of strategic B2B technology sales and customer operations experience to BigLever. He is responsible for developing key sales strategies, execution plans and processes for accelerating revenue growth and customer adoption of Featured-based PLE. Prior to BigLever, Rightler worked as a Strategic Account Manager for National Instruments, where he collaborated with customers in Aerospace/Defense, Automotive and Semiconductor industries to overcome engineering challenges through the implementation of software-based automation systems. His expertise includes building strategic business partnerships, defining effective sales and operations processes, evaluating customer need and leading cross-functional teams in delivering solutions to meet this need. Rightler holds a B.S. degree and advanced flight certifications from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
