Charles Krueger, PhD
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
PLE visionary and thought leader.
With more than 30 years of experience in systems and software engineering practice, Dr. Krueger is a premier speaker, widely published author, and acknowledged thought leader in the PLE arena. Through active involvement in key industry events and organizations, he brings innovative PLE concepts, state-of-the-art methodologies, and success stories to the forefront of the systems and software engineering community. Dr. Krueger is co-chair for the INCOSE PLE International Working Group and the lead editor for the ISO 26580 standard on Feature-based PLE. He has proven expertise in leading commercial product line development teams, and helping some of the world’s largest forward-thinking organizations establish leading-edge PLE practices across a spectrum of industries including automotive, aerospace, defense, aviation, alternative energy, e-commerce, and computer systems. He received his PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University, where he helped to pioneer the field of systems and software product line engineering.
Paul Clements, PhD
Vice President of Customer Success
PLE pioneer and acknowledged author.
One of the founding fathers of the PLE field, Dr. Paul Clements has in-depth systems and software architecture and analysis expertise, applied research experience, and proven insight for helping commercial organizations define pragmatic solutions to complex engineering problems. He assists BigLever customers in applying the latest PLE approaches, creating optimized deployment plans, and establishing successful ongoing PLE practices. Dr. Clements was previously a senior member of the technical staff at The Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) where he gained recognition as co-creator of the book Software Product Lines: Practices and Patterns, the SEI’s first software product line case study, the SEI Framework for Product Line Practice, the SIMPLE modeling language for product line economics, and the International Software Product Line Conference. Prior to the SEI, he was a computer scientist with the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. Dr. Clements received his PhD in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin.
Drew Stovall, PhD
Vice President of Engineering
PLE architect extraordinaire.
Dr. Drew Stovall oversees the architecture, development and evolution of BigLever Software’s core product offering. He brings more than 10 years of experience in software research and development to the team. Prior to joining BigLever, Dr. Stovall held engineering positions at several Austin software development firms including Trilogy, Convergys and eBay. His expertise includes pervasive computing environments and software architecture for maintainability and testing. Dr. Stovall holds a PhD in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
Vice President of Integrations and Support
PLE integrations and support powerhouse.
Glenn Meter is responsible for defining and implementing integration strategies for the ongoing expansion of BigLever’s industry-standard PLE Lifecycle Framework. In addition to overseeing the company’s support organization, Meter collaborates with partners and third party tool vendors to plan and manage integration efforts that meet customer demand. Prior to BigLever, Meter worked as Director of Development Environments for Metrowerks, a subsidiary of Freescale Semiconductor, where he managed development of the company’s CodeWarrior Integrated Development Environment. Meter began his career in software tools development at Carnegie Mellon University.
Vice President of Marketing
PLE marketing and messaging guru.
A 30-year marketing veteran, Cathy Martin leads BigLever’s marketing through the development of the company’s positioning and messaging strategies and informational marketing approaches. Martin oversees BigLever’s public relations, events, partner co-marketing programs, and online presence. As a marketing consultant, she created ground-floor go-to-market strategies for a spectrum of technology startups. Previously, Martin held management positions at Vignette Corporation and Pervasive Software. As an adjunct professor, she created entrepreneurial marketing courses for the MBA program at St. Edward’s University. Martin’s background includes a BBA in marketing from the University of Mississippi and post-graduate work in Communications at The University of Texas.

Randy Meriwether has been in executive sales and marketing roles for more than 20 years, including serving as EVP of Sales and Marketing at numerous high growth companies. He has transformed many companies with declining sales revenue and negative cash flow into growing, cash flow positive organizations – allowing them to be positioned and profitably sold, or continue to grow at an accelerated rate. Meriwether helped Pantellos, a supply chain technology company in the energy sector, become a highly profitable market leader in less than 20 months, culminating in a successful sale to Perfect Commerce. He serves on the Advisory Board of numerous high growth companies, regularly guest lectures at leading universities, and is consistently featured in a variety of publications including Texas CEO Magazine. Meriwether is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and served as an officer in the military achieving the rank of Captain.
