BigLever Software CEO to Deliver Keynote Address for International Variability Modeling of Software-Intensive Systems Workshop
AUSTIN, Texas – January 23, 2012 – BigLever Software™, the leading provider of systems and software product line engineering (PLE) solutions, announced today that Dr. Charles Krueger, the company's Founder and CEO, will deliver the keynote address at the Sixth International Workshop on Variability Modeling of Software-Intensive Systems (VaMoS) to be held on January 25 - 27, 2012 in Liepzig, Germany. As an acknowledged author, speaker and PLE pioneer, Dr. Krueger was invited to provide workshop attendees with insight into new, pragmatic approaches for managing variability in systems and software product lines.
The VaMoS 2012 workshop series brings together researchers and practitioners from various areas dedicated to mastering variability for the development, maintenance, and evolution of software-intensive systems. The workshop will address the advantages, drawbacks, viability and results of various approaches for managing variability in systems, system families, and product lines.
Dr. Krueger's keynote address – entitled Reuse is an Event. Sharing is a Journey. – will focus on new, highly effective forms of systems and software asset reuse that are enabling discontinuous improvements in engineering efficiency across the entire product line engineering lifecycle, from requirements, to design, implementation, testing, maintenance and evolution. The presentation will explore key lessons learned over the last four decades of software reuse, featuring successful new approaches that are not based on reuse events experienced in isolation, but rather on an odyssey of sharing embarked upon with others over time.
